These initial sketches show a serif type in development. Sir Lord Baltimore, when completed, will be a contemporary serif suitable and economic enough to set large amounts of copy in smaller point sizes, yet subtle enough in its construction to remain graceful at large point sizes. Italics and small caps are forthcoming.
